Duchess and Tris were about the same age here: 18 months to two years old. Tris and his mom came to stay with us for a short time, and there was an unbelievable mutual love affair between Duchess and "her boy". With my nephews Tris and Noah, we got to see Duchess exhibit some of the finest Newf qualities there are... the gentleness and patience of this guardian of children.
